is a year round Camp and Conference Center.  Each year we host thousands of children, youth and adults.  While we are supported by the Southern Baptists in the North Texas area, we are open and available for all Christ centered groups or churches.  We also host numerous corporate and educational institutions.  Some have said that Camp Chaparral is the best kept secret in the Wichita Falls area. 

The Heart Beat of Camp Chaparral is to provide a place where people can encounter Christ.  We exist to wholeheartedly serve our guests and encourage spiritual growth, healthy relationships, and wholesome recreation.  We envision a place where anyone can escape the fast-paced daily routines and pressures of life and relax while enjoying the wonders of God's creation.

Camp Chaparral Strives for Excellence Everything we do at Camp Chaparral, from the varied events and programs, to the maintenance of the facilities,  reflects our desire to encourage our guests to find a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our staff will strive to serve you and your group so your event will be a memorable one.

Excellence in Staff The year-round staff is a team called together by God to serve Him through camp ministry at Chaparral. The staff believes I Peter 4:10 is their call to service. Each one should use whatever gift he has to receive and serve others, faithfully administrating God's grace in its various forms. For the summer camping season, the staff is joined by the Summer Missions Team. These outstanding college students are prayerfully selected to join "Team Chaparral". Each one will exercise their individual skills and talents in various staff positions, all in an attempt to share the gospel of Christ, as well as minister to the needs of our campers.

Excellence in Events
